We get a lot of phone calls and emails from people looking to purchase a used excavator thumb. We understand that in many cases buying used equipment is a great way to save money. While we never have any of our own thumbs for sale as a used attachment, we do sometimes have other manufacturers used thumbs for sale when we get them in for repairs. Usually what ends up happening if we cannot repair a customers thumb manufactured by one of our competitors, we will recycle the steel and supply the client with a new one of our own hydraulic thumbs.
